It is crazy- furry, plaid, neon! But, the colors are totally you, and I can see you wearing it with a smile. How much use do you think you would get from it? And, would you feel that you’d gotten enough wear out of it in 2-3 years, to justify the price, in case you tire of the more trendy aspects?

I would love to own this coat - good fit, furry, plaid in great colours and single breasted (so looks good done up or undone) - that ticks every box on my coat wish list.

A perfect wildcard - BUT - only if you will wear it - you would though right? It is spectacular!

I almost bought a not- neutral coat recently.

I love the idea so would just ask the questions ( that I have to force myself to go through):
Is it just “ mirror madness “ or will it fit into my ongoing style?
Will it split wears with other coats that I have and still want to wear?
( and related) What coat(s) do I currently have that I will stop wearing- forever or for a season, or what coat (s) should give away to make room for this?
And my biggy: Is this an “ opportunity “ coat because it’s in a convenient shop ( TJMAXX, I’m looking at you!) when really I need/ want a different coat but don’t like having to search and wait for it?

I just couldn’t leave the store without it. It was a love at the first sight. I stopped quickly in TKMaxx (LOL
unfrumped) and I saw it across the floor, calling to me. I run over and, of course, it was my size. Price was also good, reduced from 370 Euros to 69.99 Euros if you can trust TKMaxx prices I am not familiar with the brand - urbancode london - maybe UK fabers are ? - but it looks quality.
I don’t remember when I have last time done such a fun and spontaneous purchase. And it doesn’t feel out of my comfort zone for some reason. It just makes me smile. But on a more practical note - I was not looking for a coat and don’t need another coat. It will probably split wears with my Boden yellow coat. And I haven’t really thought trough styling options- can I just trow it over anything?

It's nice to have outerwear variety and options in the winter when weather (and mood) is BLAH. I think a statement coat like this could be worn with just about anything.

That coat was made for you! The fit, the length, the collar...perfect! I love it with jeans think it would look ace with a pair of yellow, green or pink boots, shoes or sneakers.

I love it on you and your smile says you do too. An occasional fun, spontaneous purchase can provide much joy- a mood lifter every time you wear it. I try to avoid buying things just because they are on sale but when a low price allows us to indulge in something we don’t ‘need’ but truly love, that’s priceless.

That coat was waiting for you to come in and take her home...beautiful, and fun, and somewhat practical; I mean, it's a coat and you need a coat. FWIW many years ago I fought with myself over buying a white coat. After I bought it, I wore it ALL the time (prior life, in midwest where I actually wore a coat often). Yes, it needed cleaning often but I loved that coat until it died...hoping you love your new coat too!

I still lament the coat I left behind over 10 years ago. It was one-of-a-kind and I’ve never seen anything remotely like it since. I’m glad you brought your wildcard home. FWIW, I like how you’ve got it styled on the fly!
