I just returned from a great couple of weeks in England. The weather was fabulously sunny for the most part although at times coolish. I packed using the 3x3 packing grid that I saw online. This method worked really well in giving me lots of mix and match options to work with.

First week was spent in London, and although I'm not one for wearing brights or even green for that matter, I brought this older bright green Columbia jacket at the last minute and boy did it serve me well. I actually enjoyed wearing this bright colour and I was easy to spot in a crowd too. My son who is a photographer took these London photos.

1) Quintessential red phone box photo. Walked over 20,000 steps some days. My Skechers plus addition insoles went the distance.

2) Little Clouds Installation Covent Garden.

3) Lion at Trafalgar Square, Big Ben in the Backdrop.

Then it was off to the English countryside and the city of Bath

4)The Royal Crescent- these taupe ponte wide-legs were a workhorse for me, along with this black zip stretch jacket

5-6) Various ladies donning late 1700s fashion as part of the Jane Austen festival that was going on in Bath.

7) Some Georgian style dresses available for purchase at a local charity shop.

Visiting the charming village of Castle Combe.

9-10) It was warmer so I wore my teal windbreaker. Scarves were also essential for adding variety or warmth to the oufits

It was a wonderful trip, London is indeed a very fashionable and hip city with lots of wide legs trousers, cropped sweater-jackets or pretty floral midi dresses, However, sneakers definitely ruled for footwear.
