I bought a couple of new pieces from H&M, to serve as refreshers, that is inexpensive items to have fun with. I am fairly certain that all the three are keepers, but please do not hesitate to comment if you think some need to be returned. I tried to style each of them two different ways. Some inspirational looks are under a corresponding outfit.
1. Black cropped mock neck top : I have been wanting one of these for ages. I really like the look in outfit #1 (inspired by #6), but am not sure if I am brave enough to wear it, or where to wear it. Chances are higher I will mostly wear it like in #2 (inspired by #7).
2. Plaid blazer! This look (#3) was inspired by Anna's BOO gorgeous plaid blazer (her inspirational pin is in #8). The blazer is very nicely made for H&M. The material is wool blend, it is fully lined in cute polka-dot lining. It is navy with dark red and cognac plaid lines, with cognac elbow patches. The lines don't perfectly match up at the seams, but it does not bother me at all for $40 blazer. Since BOO and Smythe blazers are out of my budget, this will be my nod to the plaid blazer trend. In #4 I tried it with another H&M new piece, which is:
3. Deep burgundy crossover blouse. It is polyester, but nicely made, and has front lining. It works well under the blazer, and I also like it on it's own with flares (#5).

Also new, to go with the blazer and blouse, are red Matiko booties Angie recently featured (in #5) and navy leather belt (#3). All the comments and suggestions are welcome.
