I am the WORST stalker.

I lose interest immediately when an item is not available in my size, or when the price is too high. Apart from the NAS, I don't shop sales, although I wait for discount day at BR and J.Crew - (which is easy because they offer discounts left, right and centre). I'm seldom motivated to get a price adjustment because I believe that what you lose on the swings, you gain on the roundabouts.

All this to say, I would like to try this sweater dress in an XS - but it's gone on the Nordies and Madewell website. If you happen to see it - please let me know.

I need to lose interest, I wish it rubs off on me. I am an excellent stalker. You cannot be that way if you lose interest quickly. I hope you can find the dress. It is very similar to last year’s olive green BR dress, no?

Is there a option to sign up to get the email when the size is available? I usually do that but it happens once I get that email I have already lost interest or found something else.

I am not a good methodical stalker, just check every so often, especially in the sale section online. I am more inclined to happen on the item later at The Rack or a sale rack. I will watch for this one in an XS as I am looking to replace some sweater dresses.

I'm a stalker too! I recently got my new corduroys on a popback in my size.

If Madewell is having the same horrible shipping issues J Crew is (I have no idea if they are), there may be a flurry of returns after Christmas.

Christina -- I assume Madewell is having the same shipping issues as J Crew. I ordered something from Madewell in November and it has yet to ship. Today is December 12th.

I'm a terrible stalker too. The only way I stalk is when an ad for the item shows up on Facebook or Instagram and reminds me that I once wanted that item. Otherwise it's out of sight, out of mind.

Christina, I hear you on the shipping issues. It's even worse in Canada because we've been dealing with rotating postal strikes here and a lot of stuff is stuck at the borders. I'm waiting...and waiting...and waiting...on a bunch of stuff.

i'm a pretty good stalker...but i'm even better at getting a retailer to do the stalking for me....i'd stop into both Madewell and Nordies and have them check store on hands. if the inventory is low, but there is still some in stores, most companies will pull it off line so that they don't have to cancel an online order. but a good SA will call the stores that show on hands and 8/10 times the store finds its...

I just checked Nordstrom site and was surprised to see that it does not offer email notification when the size is back in stock. I am so used to this feature in online shops here. You just click on the size that is not available and a screen pops up asking for your email to get a notification when item in this size is avalable again.
