I have so little brown in my closet but I have had this Anne Klein faux suede+sweater jacket that was a birthday gift from my mother for years and it has survived many closet edits. I have always loved jackets with knit sleeves, but haven't pulled it out for long time.

Then I got to thinking, I used to have some dark brown boots...did I sell them on eBay? Lo and behold, found the Sam Edelman Petty boots, in pristine shape. They are a 1/4 size too big, which is why I think I didn't reach for them when I first bought them many years ago, but they're good with socks.

So here are both of my chocolate brown items. Not the greatest photos, apologies.

The jeans are hemmed for a slightly higher heel, and regrettably I wore this outfit on a rainy day.

I cannot collect...it's very frustrating. I want to share this BR soft touch tank top - the fabric is so soft and lovely. The boatneck is oddly high, but it causes a nice almost cowl neckline under a jacket.
