Because I'm looking at all these mini-capsule wardrobes, and man, they look great! Until I realize that I SWEAT and when I sweat, I smell. Even with perfume and deodorant and antiperspirant, I have a pit odor and I don't like it. So tops get washed after one wearing if they're against my skin. That means having a demure three-four tops just isn't going to work for me - unless I either do laundry ever single night, or I embrace the funk. (No thanks.)

As for pants, I could probably pare mine down, but again - after 2-3 wearings they get a bit funky, they crease, they stretch, they get that "I am not clean" slightly shiny look and feel. I remember I went to a camp that issued three pairs of culottes to each camper, somehow expecting that this would get you through a week. I was never able to figure out the right rhythm of washing/wearing and inevitably wound up wearing stinky, stained culottes for days waiting for a clean pair to come back from the camp laundry.

And sweaters. Does anyone else break out around their neck if they don't wash a sweater after a few wearings? Or think sweaters start feeling oily and not nice? I see pretty wardrobes with a two sweaters over the assortment of tops and think, wow, that would be nice! Until I remember how gnarly a dirty sweater feels and all those clogged pores on my neck. (Ick.)

I'm envious of folks who have gentle, dewdrop perspiration that smells of spring meadows, or the miraculous ability to wear pants without getting them dirty or stretching them out, but until my body chemistry changes I am going to need more pants and shirts unless the world wants to smell me coming.

Do these mini-capsule women have blood by Mennen, or am I just genetically unlucky?
