marianna, just a side note to thank you. my brother actually suffers from hyperhidrosis. I it is very severe in his hands, I will tell him about Botox.

I personally use Certain Dri once every two months - I used to have gigantic pit circles, and this works. It does increase sweating in other areas, like my scalp and between my breasts, but it's much more managable.

However, CD does not eliminate all sweat, nor does it eliminate all pit smell. Maybe I need to learn to love my odor? I wish I did like it, but it has a sharp smell I just don't enjoy.

Laundry, ho!

Oh yes, I still need an anti-perspirant/deodorant layered on top with Certain Dri, but it certainly improves things a lot.

I am sure this would be a much worse problem for me if I lived where you live. I sweat all summer something fierce.

In winter, not so much. Only when I work out and RARELY if I am super nervous about something. Otherwise, almost nothing.

For my trip capsule, I'll make sure to have a clean top for each day, and I'll actually be wearing a couple of tops on at least some days (i.e. if I go out in the evening I would probably be changing tops if not bottoms).

I always wash socks, undies, camis and layering Ts or tops each wear. Bottoms, not so often and shirts/ sweaters can usually be worn a few more times, but it does depend what I have been doing.

Fall and winter aren't so bad, and I don't seem to have spot-specific issues like excessive underarm sweating. However, I react very, very poorly to hot weather. So much so that when we visit a hot climate on vacation, I am pretty sure that observers think there is something the matter with me because I sweat so much. My face is the worst, and one cannot exactly put anti-perspirant on one's face! But "oil-free" sunscreens and facial products don't do a thing for me because my skin is not only sweaty, but oily as well. I suppose it helps as far as aging and wrinkling goes, but it is miserable.

As for clothing, I launder the layer closest to my skin after each wear, so that means that I wear a freshly laundered bra, underwear (of course), socks, cami or t-shirt and tights daily. In the summertime, I rarely wear anything more than once between washings, but in winter I can usually wear pants twice and jackets or cardigans several times.
