I wanted to love the Leiths, but they didn't love me....SO I altered a pattern, using the Leith's as a template. I chose a stable, matte jersey, for more ease in the fit. I wish I had a little more room in the lower leg, so they pooled more at the ankles and less at the knees. I'm also not sure of the figure flattery here, but I loved the feel of them.

Pic 1 is my Aida pose. The last photo, without jacket, isn't very flattering, but it gives you a better sense of the pants.

The sewing was EASY. 3 hours max. $25 including patter (Joann's 40 percent off).
