Legwarmers were from New Look in the uk i've spotted them in H&M today too. I think i need to get used to the look before wearing them out!

Sorry Louise, I forgot to comment on the dress outfit.

I'd like to see the legwarmers scrunched with the frock and possibly not black legwarmers unless the shoes were black, or there was something else black in the outfit. Think you can whip up a pic?

You brave soul! It's one of those looks I feel is growing on me already. I think when you are wearing them with the dress, you should pull them down more, so the back of the leg warmer is almost touching the ground and hugging your ankles and upper part of your foot. I like the boots and leg-warmers look.

Oh Loulou, they look so cute! I've never done legwarmers myself (well, not since I wore them under my snowsuit when I was little), but I used to wear armwarmers in uni! Surprisingly, my 50-year-old MUM wears legwarmers sometimes. I have a hunch it might be to keep out the chill, but she looks pretty cool doing it

I especially love how you'd paired them with the skinny jeans. It's such a fresh way of doing the look.

Man, I admire your fearlessness! They look great with the boots and skinnies -- love the contrast of black and brown. I couldn't really tell they were legwarmers with the dress; they kind of looked like chunky leggings. Try a different color for contrast, maybe?

Medusa i haven't worked up the courage to wear them out yet perhaps when it gets colder though i did wear them under a pair of boots last week with about an inch of legwarmer showing at the top x
