Hello.

With all the NAS excitement I've fallen behind on posting WIWs.

Here are some recent layered shorts outfits.

#1 and #2 - Green, Mint, and White
I'm always interested in trying new color combinations. The mint and green worked really well together. The seafoam green bag and gold belt added some soft colors and texture (the bag has suede on the sides) while the white jacket and slide sandals brightened up the entire outfit.

#3 and #4 - Tan, Rust, and Ivory
The jacket and shorts were thrifted at the beginning of the season. I've been enjoying sporting fall colors such as rust in the summer for an earthy/safari vibe.

#5 and #6 - Turquoise, White and Gold
While it's not a jacket, I think a shirt layered with a tank can count as a layered outfit too, right?

#7 and #8 - Navy/White Stripes with Green
The green shorts are back, this time paired with a navy/white striped tee. I often sport shorts with jackets that fall a little past the waist line (such as the denim jackets in 1 or 9), for this outfit I decided to try layering with a longer length knit blazer for a change.

#9 and #10 - Oat, Blue Denim, and White
I designed this outfit around the Kurt Geiger bag, because it's adorable and I don't wear it often enough. It's a little small for daily life, but works well for casual dinners. Looking at the photos I realize that a belt would have been nice with this outfit, but I forget. Ah well, next time I'll add a belt.
