Layering Tanks - how many?

I have so many layering tanks, they almost have their own drawer. I get really frustrated with the amount of space they take up yet have a hard time weeding them out if they are in good shape.

How many do you have? How many do you think are needed? What colors?

I have A LOT of tanks, don´t be embarrassed!! I have all the neutrals doubled up (black, cream, grey, navy, white) and then some bright colors to match my wardrobe. I always get one or two in the trendy color, too (coral and turquoise at the moment). It´s an easy and cheap way to make your wardrobe trendy.

A lot!! They used to be the extent of my style and I find I wear them much less these days. But I still have a ton, probably in every color. I roll them into tiny little tubes which helps with space. I'd say a few neutrals and a few colors are probably enough, but I also have a hard time getting rid of them.

layering tanks= camis? I have 1 cream, 2 blacks, 3 whites, 2 navy and some in trendy colors.

Seems like I'm not alone... B, I guess I'm referring to cotton knit tanks that can be layered or worn alone if really hot. I tend to think of camis as more of an undergarment, but that is just me. Really, though, they serve the same function.

I have a drawer full. I sleep in them and wear them to the gym in addition to layering.

Oh gosh, I probably have 20. In every color of the rainbow imaginable. They are something I use everyday and special occasions. These are the spaghetti strap ones that I would never wear solo.

I also have a whole drawerful with duplicates in white, black and a nudie pink. I got rid of all the cami style ones and only have those that can be worn alone if it's really hot. I wear them year round and almost every day.

I have 3 drawers:
-camisoles/ribbed tank tops
-short-sleeved layering tees and regular tees
-long-sleeved layering tees and turtlenecks

Tons of colors, textures and sizes. Many of them I have had for years but because I have so many I rotate through and they all don't get the same amount of year.

A lot -- I have several cotton and about 10 silk knit versions. Oh, and two cashmere ones.

I'm always trying to break up my long torso, so I use them as a contrasting color top or bottom. They also keep me from exposing things that don't need to be exposed when I sit, so I'm not giving them up anytime soon.

[The silk knits include turquoise, green, red, rose, navy, plum, brown, black and white...and I wouldn't mind adding a few more, ha.]
