Last outfits of summer or a case of hard time letting go

Dear YLF,
I haven't taken photos of my recent outfits but late August/early September I took some because I was trying to make the most of my summer items, or should I say, of one of my summer items.
Yes, it is true, 1,2,3 are outfits with the same pair of pants.They are too thin to wear now (or maybe not)so I was just trying stuff with them.
#4 is a color combination that I thought interesting and will be taken into fall with other items.
#5 is kind of a fail. I like the pants with the jacket, wanted a different white/cream top but couldn't find one and I have difficult time wearing dark pants with bright shoes, in theory it works but I don't feel like myself.(I would probably wear this jacket with the slouchy pants in 1,2,3 also if I just find the occasion for it)
Just wanted to share.

Maybe try the dark pants/bright shoe combo with a scarf or necklace that bookends with the shoes?
I like #3,4,5 .Very cute outfits!

The stark contrast between the white and black in #1 is too drastic and serves to cut you in half at the waist. #4 and #5 look great!

The pants in 1-4 are a definite winner. I agree with your assessment of #5. The shoes are really nice but don't work in this outfit. I also have a pair of bright red booties that I find really hard to style.

I also really love 4 and 5. I seriously adore that jacket in #5 and I actually quite like the bright shoes with it. But then, I love bright colours!

I like the fluid pants in 1 to 3 but my picky eye is wishing they were a smidge longer. 4 is lovely and 5 is fab, though I get your point about the shoes. I quite like idea of a bright shoe. One that picks out that background of your jacket might be nice.

I love 2, 4, and 5. I don't see any problem with 5!

I think you're looking polished and relaxed in all of these, 4 and 5 being my favorite. I like the unexpected pop of color in the shoes in #5. This is an example of choosing a color for impact, not because it matches. You might feel better about it if you added a bangle at the wrist, or a necklace, but I like the uncluttered way you're wearing it here.

I like your black and white combo in #1 but the pants look a little short, which is odd because they look fine in #2 and #3. #3 and #4 are my favorites. I love the top in #3 and the color combo in #4.

Hey, jacket twin! I have already retired mine for the season...it feels spring/ summery to me. But we start our fall a couple of weeks earlier than you down my way. I REALLY like that outfit, by the way.

YLF! 3,4 &5 are my fave's.
5 is great with those shoes--a super outfit. Maybe not fall colors but so what. It's quite lovely.

But, for more fall-ifying of the jacket, if you have anything that brings out the ? gold or camel color--can't quite tell what it is-- in the print, that would give a fall vibe. Luggage tan or cognac shoes or bag or top. Possibly even nude. Also, higher-vamped shoe reads more "fall". Not saying to go buy stuff, but that prints like that can be very versatile as often have a couple of colors you can capitalize on for the seasonal look even if at first it seems one or the other. So if you're in a mild climate, that print jacket can really be useful just by changing a few other items. Sounds like you're thinking along those lines.
