Today we have mild weather, it was overcast in the morning and now it is sunny.
The outfit: viscose patterned blouse, denim joggers, silver oxfords and blue overcoat.
I have to thank Mary Beth for her Favorite Thing Challenge - I realized I have more favorite pieces than I thought.
The blouse - I was torn when I purchased because patterns are usually not my thing but I was conquered by the freshness of the material. This blouse has magical powers: it feels fresh in warm/hot weather but also cozy when layered under pullovers in Winter. It often receives compliments and makes me feel polished but in a relaxed way - a look that I aim for.
The overcoat - bought in 2007, it's a nice shiny blue (not visible in the pic), good cut, waterproof and, again, looks polished but simple.
Also, at work I keep this old blue poncho (2005) that I slip on when it's cool. It's a much loved piece - right color, shape and weight.
