Thanks Smittie and SaraL, I am always looking for more ways to embellish outfits. Wrist straps, guitar straps, what's next? I was watching an old music video of TLC at my gym (No Scrubs), and they were wearing full length arm warmers. Hmm. There is a look I would like to try. Jacquard ones.
Thanks Sally. Good memory about the stripes. Definitely a love/hate thing but love at the moment. I am pretty safe if I stick with black and white. And yoga pants would be much easier! I am wearing my new CR jeans today (for casual Friday). The good news is that they got DH's tick of approval. No need to scuttle back to the bedroom and get changed!
Thanks Suz. Does ASOS not do free returns in Canada? They do here. They are about the only O/S retailer who does. I do use them for a bit of experimentation. They have such a large range.
Thanks Angie. I am so pleased you approve! I know the colour palette is limited, but that works for me because I am not a very good colour mixer. If I branch out into a lot of colours, I end up with lots of items that I only feel comfortable wearing with one or 2 other things. This way I can achieve a high degree of mix and match capability in my wardrobe without high volume. I do want to add more tan to my wardrobe as you suggested and I am on the eye out for more. I like olive green too, which is easier to find, and I already have some pieces (like the dress in outfit 2), but my mum says it doesn't suit me. So I am having doubts about it!
Thanks Karen13. That is very flattering! I am not wild about Spring/Summer from a fashion perspective but I am still looking forward to the change. The short days of winter and going home in the dark gets a bit depressing. I need sunshine to lift my spirits!
Thanks RobinF, a signature "look" was my style goal for the year, so that's music to my ears!
Thanks SL, I am glad you like the trench coat look. The trench coat has been a huge success for me this year because it is a perfect in between weight. Not too warm for my warmish climate.
And thanks LynD, Dianna, Joy, cousin MJ, Anne and JAileen!
