Hi all

It's warming up here so I think this will be the last of winter outfits for me. You can see that I am already sneaking in some bare legs with boots. Goodbye opaque tights. See you next year.

Outfit 1 (pics 1-2): Sleeveless knit top layered over a long sleeve skivvy. I made the wrist warmers from a free people top (shown in Finds) that I have had for a few years and have posted previously. I wasn't wearing the top enough because it's polycotton, and makes me hot. The neckline wasn't fab on me either. So I cut off the cuffs and lined them with the sleeves of the top to make them into wrist warmers. I can now wear them with any of my cotton tops. Outside I wore a coat and a white floral scarf (inspired by Bijou). The scarf is a dark pattern on a light background rather than the more usual light pattern on dark background. Makes a difference!

Outfit 2 (pics 3-4): Sleeveless knit dress in olive green layered over black and white striped top. Worn with floral Moto jacket.

Outfit 3 (pics 5-7): Trying out the guitar strap trend with an inexpensive version from asos. I am wearing it with a Kate Spade bag that I already had. Both the top and the jacket are ink blue but they look black in the pics. The top has a lace pattern and extended, slightly flared sleeves. Fun. The skirt is a heavy cotton sateen, and lined, but it wrinkles around the hips with wear. I am at peace with that now (there was some grumbling at first).

Outfit 4 (pics 8-9): Floral top with ruched skirt and burgundy jacket and scarf. The scarf is a space dye pattern with black through it. I like the subtle pattern that space dye adds to outfits.
