Hello!

This outfit features chambray and blues. I guess I was in a blue mood!
I wanted to wear a few pieces that I purchased from F21, and mix them with some of my vintage goodies. This was worn for a day out with my hubs.

Hat: Vintage, thrifted
Jewelry: Lord & Taylor, Loehmann's, and Vintage
Peplum topper: TJMaxx
Chambray shirt: F21
Jeggings: F21 ( Although they didn't look too bad, they really weren't comfortable. The elastic in the waist had too much give, and they kept sliding down I'll stick with NYDJ-my faithful go to)
Booties: Report
Crochet clutch: Vintage, thrifted
Gloves: Vintage, thrifted

You look lovely in blue and I love how effortlessly you combine vintage and modern in the same outfit! I almost want to see this without the striped top, even though it's very cute, to maybe give all the awesome accessories more chance to shine against a simpler backdrop.

The blues are lovely but it's the little details here that really 'make' this outfit. The necklace adds some bling, the bag has great texture to it, and the peek of skin on the shoulders is a nice touch on the top. A great look here!

Hard to see the outfit in #1 on my monitor, but the blues are so rich and gorgeous! Love that brilliant cobalt against the pop of white.

@ Aubergine Great idea! I'll try this look again with another pair of jeans, and remove the added layer.
@ Lisa I love the texture of this clutch, almost too much because now it need a good washing I was pleasantly surprised at how my shoulders look on camera

I love this look. At first I wasn't sold on the layered shirts, but then I realized my eye was getting confused by the yucca (?) leaf in the background and I was seeing the fabric of the chambray as puffy rather than fitted, once I re-calibrated it worked for me.

You have amazing shoulders, and I just love the third photograph. The family of cobalt blues which all work, the hat, the way the bronze studs on the collar and the links on the necklace echo each other. The use of white as detail/design element in pearls and stripes. I'm trying to learn more about pattern/texture mixing and I think I'm just going to study that picture for awhile and soak it in. Thanks for sharing!

I think that this outfit could also look really interesting with some white on the bottom, as an element or overall color in shoes or pants or a skirt.

Wow, thanks so much rabbit! Last year I set a goal of
incorporating mixed prints/patterns more frequently into my day to day
wardrobe. Naturally, so it seems, texture mixing also entered the picture!

I'd love to try this with white bottom jeans (as soon as I buy another
pair, and hoping that the blue dyes don’t rub off). I’m adding that to my "Plan
To" list
