Kristen & I hit NAS last night and we each came away with a few key items -- mostly shoes and accessories. Kristen, remind me what you got ... I bought a Halogen cowlneck tunic, Nordstrom brand zippered leggings and the Frye Jane boots in the light taupe color. Kristen also got the leggings and stocked up on Oroblu microfishnets, and scored a gorgeous pair of peep-toe booties in taupe.
I was disappointed that the charcoal grey Hinge jacket on the catalog cover wasn't in our store at all -- completely sold out nationwide at this point, but there will be more available later. The Trouve blue-grey leather studded jacket ran big and didn't come in XS. I really liked a tomato red belted Jessica Simpson wool coat with big silver insignia buttons but didn't *need* it so passed. And the Eileen Fisher purple flyaway cardi was gorgeous but Kristen and I felt it was pricey for what it was, even on sale. The Classiques Entier double breasted boiled wool jacket was gorgeous, if you can wear mustard, which I can't!
We thought the jewelry, watches and handbags were gorgeous, and the shoes and boots were much improved over last year's sale. I didn't try on a single dress - big disappointment!
What did everyone else think of their NAS presale experience?
