K/R Tweed Moto

This moto jacket photographs baby blue. It is not. It is actually cobalt blue, white, with flecks of silver.

I am really torn on this jacket. It has no stretch or give at all, so I fear it will be uncomfortable by the end of the day. Yet, DH and I both like the look of it. (He loves the faux leather edging)

It is not the pastel jacket I had been looking for. Also, it is not lined. For a jacket with no stretch, you would think it would lined, especially on a scratchier fabric like tweed.

I really like the jacket on you, and the fabric is lovely! How does it feel when you move your arms, like you would when you're reaching for things, or sitting at your desk? Does it feel like it restricts movements? It sounds like there are more "cons" for it than "pros", so it might be an idea to give it a miss and wait until the pastel one you're looking for comes along.

I love this on you, but you don't sound convinced. Even if you don't keep it, you should look for more moto jackets...they really suit you Thistle!

Thistle, if you are really looking for a pastel jacket, I don't know that I would settle. This jacket does look good on you, but if you buy this one, might it sit in the closet once you find a pastel one? I would at the very least wear it around the house quite a bit to see how the comfort level fares over some hours.

This looks wonderful on you, but if it's not comfortable then you won't wear it. I'm wondering if a size up would be too big on the shoulders? Might be worth a try though. Since it's unlined it would be easy enough to alter.

Wow. I really like this on you. So you will have to sort out the " feel" and also if it's a color you will use a lot. But I think it is very sharp- looking, and that might be better than pastel!

It looks very nice. Maybe wear it at home for a couple of hours and see how it feels. Is it scratchy also when you wear a long sleeve top under it?
I love the style on you but if it's scratchy then I don't know.

I think this jacket looks fantastic on you! Only you can say whether it's comfortable or not. You definitely need to be able to move in it, but on the other hand, I wouldn't hold a jacket like that to the same standard as, say, pajamas.

To me this size looks perfect on you, but I guess it never hurts to try another size just to be sure.

I really love the look of this jacket on you. The style of this one might push your style envelope a little further than a pastel (which I think is a good thing). If it is too scratchy or uncomfortable, though, it isn't worth it.

You look fabulous in this jacket! Wow! I love everything about the cut and fit and color. If it's not comfy and sits in your closet, well, you know. But wow! If not this one, look for others, lots of others, in the same style!

I love this on you Thistle. Great colours and I think the fit is really good. How does it look open? Only you can judge comfort.

I really like it on you. A lot. I think the tweed pattern and colors really suit you. I would definitely try a size up--try anything to make it work, because it is so pretty on you.

Not reading others... I vote return. Too many issues: no stretch and no lining. Both are deal breakers in their own right and something because of what you won't be reaching for it.

It is a beautiful jacket however and it is a shame it's not 100% winner - but, you'll be proud of yourself for staying strong

Would it always be worn closed? I'd kind of like to see it open... buuut if it is uncomfortable or binding at the end of the day you wont want to wear it. Have you tried other moto jackets?

I love this one too!! But agree that comfort comes first at least for jackets like this that one would like to wear often. So it all comes down to that.

I agree with Ornella, there are too many issues to keep it. I would keep looking for your pastel jacket!

I love the way this looks on you, but comfort trumps all in my book, so I think you should return. Definitely keep looking, because this style of jacket suits you.

OMG, i love this. the cut and the colors are both great. i get that its not pastel, but the colors are just fab on you and i think they would be very versatile.

I agree with the others that this is very flattering on you. Try wearing it around the house and see if you can determine the comfort factor.

This jacket looks fantastic on you and I think would work well in your closet. But if it isn't comfortable - scratchy, no give, etc. - then you should think twice. You could try sizing up, though the fit looks pretty much perfect here.

ETA: as far as it not being the pastel jacket you are looking for...would keeping this preclude you from finding the pastel jacket? If so, that's another reason to think twice. If not and you decide it's comfortable enough to earn a spot in your wardrobe, then I vote keep.

I think this is fab. I wouldn't size up - it looks like it fit beautifully. I rarely wear this type of jacket zipped, though. What does it look like open?
