K/R: The Doc is in the house

Well, they are finally here and I'm anxious to hear what you think. I went ahead and returned the Clarks that I posted about in this post. I tried to style them similarly for comparison purposes. I'm going to withhold my opinion until later.

I think they'd be cute with colored denim! Not sure about showing leg above them though. I'd wear them with pants that hit the top of the shoe.

Swoooon! I love these on you, in all of the iterations! They look fab--love the little heel on them, and how androgynous they look. Will you wear them with skirts/dresses too?

I like them! They are more rugged than the clarks, which I think is what you were looking for, right? I like them with the hems rolled better or a bootcut jeans rather than the BFs unrolled.

Thanks, Peeps! Okay, I can't keep it to myself anymore. I LOVE the shoes. I knew the instant that I opened the box that these were the ones
@Malina: I should have mentioned that the shorts pics were for better detail of the shoes. There's no way I could wear these bare legged/no sock until they are broken in. And they are going to required breaking in--no doubt in my mind!
@Jonesy: I love the same things you do about them. Not sweet but not too masculine. I'm not 100% sure they will work with skirts but I'm going to give it the old college try.
@Kathy: Yes, definitely a bit more rugged than the Clarks.

Okay. I totally love these and think perhaps I need a pair.

I would then own 3 Docs.

That seems a bit excessive. But. These are great.

I love the little heel on these! Gorgeous, and you need to match them with a sweet skirt to play up the masculinity of the shoe. I wish I hadn't seen these....I've been trying to hold off on shoe shopping.

I *really* love these Kelly! They're great -- I like how you can work these into a masculine outfit or use them for contrast in a more feminine outfit.
