One of my Spring/Summer shopping goals is to add some texture. It's also to add some blouses because I have very few that I love.

Pictures 1-4 are a Carven blouse that I was instantly drawn to because of the sea themed print. I love the ocean, aquariums, water, swimming, boats, etc. It has a ruffle across the front, and it has transparent/translucent areas in the print which I tried to show by putting my hand underneath. It's obviously large and boxy. I'm not sure if I can have it cut down and shaped a bit but the transparency works well and you can see my figure through it fairly well. What do you think?

Picture 5 is a Michael Kors blouse that clearly has texture. I notice it's transparent at the bottom with the dark jeans. I'm not sure I like that and need to try it with a pair of white. Is that a deal breaker? Should I return?

6. Nic and Zoe tie front top in a linen blend. I like this one for its color and sleeve length. However, it may be loose and a bit short.

7. All Saints, this is a bit of a wild card for me but I wanted something asymmetrical and grey and this fit the bill. I know that sounds like an odd combination but grey is one of my key neutrals now that I've stopped coloring my hair.

8. Halogen blouse- this is fairly basic but it looks good under two of my lightweight Blazers.

9. Hard Tail lace top- This is a casual gear like top and I really like it. I love my white tank tops and this is the perfect way for me to cover them up and head out of the house without feeling too exposed.

10. Equipment slim signature - I love these and it's my favorite color. It matches my glasses! It's staying!

Bonus: The grey shoes are my new Everybody flats. Very comfortable. I purchased 1/2 size larger than my usual because I think they run a bit small or maybe it's because my arches are high. They also come in black and white.
