K/R sheath dress and WIW Easter

You have seen this dress....loving yellow these days. Bag is vintage Bonnie Cash in Coach 1960-something. Necklace is Starry Night.Here is a K/R....I want a versatile piece I can wear with patterns and solids. Layer over and under. Did I find this or should I return?

The yellow dress is lovely! Great pattern. I think the sheath is quite versatile. Good idea to fold under the ruffled sleeves. I'm not loving the blouse combined with it, but in general, I think you can layer both under and over it.

I love yellow too. I agree with Ingunn - I think a simple more fitted under-piece would work better with the dress.

That bonnie cashin coach is the bomb!

love the check dress and surprisingly the flutter sleeves giving you a stronger shoulder line. Not too fond of that particular shirt underneath. A bit too much pattern for me.

OK so bold patterns are a no go, but solids are good. Igunn- Thanks for the affermation on folding the sleeves under. I was hoping that would work. And no on the bold prints OK. I think I like it enough to keep, just was not sure if it was considered a neutral.
