Several months ago I tried a pair of black Rag & Bone wrap pants, that I ended up returning. Anna remembered my quest and spotted this pair by Phillip Lim and recommended them to me. They arrived yesterday and I'm not sold on them. I think pastel pants are a giant stretch for me first off, and they are super high waisted. And I don't have much of a waist so that's not always my best look. The crotch point isn't dropped, but they don't really work to slouch down either, due to the wrapping and belting situation.

I think they make me look wider than I am, though that isn't necessarily a deal breaker in my mind. I tried them with a couple tops, not sure if I've hit the right one. I wouldn't wear it tucked in I don't think. Regardless of the keeping issue, what type of topper would you go with? Tried with a few shoes, for me, I think they need heels.

I need your honest and critical feedback on these ones. I'm not emotionally attached to these pants at all and I have a thick skin. And they are weird pants. Tried to give you a few angles to get a better assessment. I so appreciate you help on this one, if anything it may give you a good laugh.

Edited to add: The full trauma of seeing the shirt tucked in entirely has now been realized. My hips look gigantic, lol. I would definitely not go out in public like that! My white shirt idea ended up looking like pyjamas. And the blazer and black shirt variation are too close in length. But I do really like the pants from that angle. I have many more potential tops and shoes, but they are I've realized, difficult pants to style. Thank you again for your patience and feedback!
