@slim cat Yes I bought the floral skirt a while back - knew there was a reason that I haven't culled it yet! Burgundy is a combination I hadn't thought of yet - would khaki look strange, do you think?
@Janet & @Jenni NZ & @Joy - seems the copper maxi skirt isn't getting much love! I really wanted to love it but something about it just feels off - @lyn67 by weight, do you mean that it looks heavy or that you think it's pulling downwards? I'm wondering if they cheaped out a little on the bias construction (it doesn't really look too bias but it does have a flounced or ruffled looking hem). I can't quite put my finger on it... Also sorry but what did you mean by 'for the unis'?
@notsaf I agree - I'm really liking @lyn67's suggestion to tie a knot in my top instead. Could a peplum top work too?
@Angie I think it's supposed to be asymmetrical but it's hard to tell on my hips lol - there's a side slit over one knee, where it flounces a little more on the other knee. Interesting that you feel the copper maxi is too long - it stops above my feet, so do you think an ankle length would work better? Just worried about hemming something with a flounced hem... May have to try it with proper footwear to see
@Mirjana do you mean just tucking in the front but not the back?
