Late to this post but I love it on you! Glad you kept.

The more pic u see the more I like it. I just think it suits you.

What lyn67 said about more muted colors, not the turquoise, since it’s cream rather than white. Interestingly though the black and red work great. So maybe bold and/ or warm colors.

Very late to this post, but very glad you ended up keeping. Regarding DD, my twin DDs (now 14) are usually fine with what I wear but sometimes I try something that seems different to them. My DD that "turned teenager" a bit earlier than her twin has learned to say I like it for you but I wouldn't wear it. The other one is just coming around the bend with accepting me looking "different". They don't want us to change on some level.
Anyway, you look smashing!

I just remembered about your foot injury & came back to see what shoes you have on/if you had to wear the ugly ones. NO! The black boots are cute. Also, I hadn't seen the final pic. You look so festive & cute! Hope you had fun.

Fshintern - I had fitting for custom inserts just yesterday because pain still did not go away, only swelling. First question they asked me was if I wear elegante Schuhe or sportliche Schuhe. They promised to make them as thin as possible. I have yet to see if they will fit in all my shoes, will get them next week. I am sad about sandals and sling backs, will have to find some other solution for summer.

Fingers crossed & thumbs pressed that they help! I think you wear elegant shoes AND your boots fit the "sporty" descriptor. Would you able to get a second set of orthotics if need be? Or even a third, half-length, set? I hear you on the slingbacks though--that'll be tough.

Looks great on you. My favorite combos are the red, camel and neon yellow/green(?). Maybe your daughter thinks you don't look like a "mom". Sometimes it is hard to see someone in a different light. That being said my only concern is will you be wearing this or will it stay in your closet for only special occasions? However you decide to wear this I think you will definitely stand out (and in a good way).

Hi Anchie I am coming back to say I love it with the toppers. My fave is the black one with black boots, but also the red and camel toppers/coats and with red bag. I'm not so keen on turquoise, denim or yellow myself. Feel the toppers tone down the pattern. Hope DD comes to like the dress in time!
