Just a couple of WIWs. The weather right now is perfect for the way I love to dress. It's just cool enough for pants, button-ups, and sandals. Sandals are my favorite footwear of choice. My fussy feet prefer them, and I like that they look refined and are easy to pair with my jeans and pants. I actually find shoes/boots much trickier to get the proportions right.

It's a simple formula that I think works well for me, as someone who prefers mostly easygoing, classic dressing.

Pretty easy and comfortable looks with polish and visual interest! I love all things blue and do similar pairing with black sandals or neutral/brown ones ( metallic sandals used to be my favorite choice but not anymore ).
Spring season is a favorite one for me since our summers are long/hot and fall is usually short.

My favorite season is summer. I start disliking dressing in a fall and it gets progressively worse into a winter Right now I actively edit my sweaters as I stop loving them. Sad.

So nice Dee ! I love this time of year too , and for the next 2 or so months . I’ve packed up my open toe footwear though and am giving my now - unpolished toes a break until spring . You look great in a classic shirt - lucky you

You look fantastic in both of these outfits. I can't pick a favourite! The cuffed pants are such a nice change of silhouette and showcase the sandals, and the wide legs are of course one of my favourite styles. And there is blue enough to ease my tired eyes!

Your formula works beautifully for you! Easy and polished at the same time, and you look so good in button downs! How nice you can wear long jeans again.

I also prefer sandals when possible. Summer is actually my favorite for dressing as it feels carefree to me.

I have the exact same Fossil bag but in a bronze color. Love crossbody bags.

ANGIE- My shirt in photo# 2 kind of reminds me of your blue striped shirt dress that I really loved.
IRINA- I can't blame you for getting tired of winter dressing, our season is just so long here in Canada.

Excellent outfits Dee! The first one is so vibrant with the colors and the pants length is perfect to highlight your sandals. And the top in the second one is perfect with the jeans. I think my favorite season is when the seasons change because I am ready for a change .

Goodness you suit these vivid mid blues!!

I really like everything about these looks - the colours, shapes and the sandals.

I like summer dressing the best. But I like changing it up too - I find late winter and early spring the most challenging (where I am at now) although this year because of a vacation and some new pieces it is okay. If we have extended cold patches I can struggle too as I don't have a large amount of cold winter items.

I enjoy fall dressing because the weather is cooler and I love clothes with textures and fall is the beginning of more textures, if that makes sense.

Your post makes me realize I rarely wear sandals with pants. If it's warm enough for me to wear sandals, I'm usually wearing shorts!

I'm at a loss as to a favorite season. I like Jaime's answer!

Lovely! I like a lot the first outfit - the combination of ankle pants and (beautiful) sandals looks carefree yet stylish. I also like the colors of this outfit.

JAIME, - yes, a new season does open up some exciting opportunities to change things up.
FIRECRACKER(SHARAN)- Sandals with pants can seem a bit seasonally confused, but if the temperature is just right, I find it works really well.
BLUEJAY- I love adding textures to my outfits in the cooler weather, totally makes sense.
SAL- Transition seasons can be tricky to keep up with. The weather can be so unpredictable.

These are both great outfits! Love the jeans in #2. I agree, you do shirts really well, they suit you. And the blues are really pretty. I don't usually wear sandals with pants, my feet get too cold.

I am sad summer is ending. Our winters are long here too and I am never ready to give up my shorts and sandals.

Thanks ROBINF, I can only get away with sandals and jeans for a couple of weeks if the weather cooperates. Yep, the shorter days are coming too quickly.

Fabulous Dee. I especially like no 2 with all those tonal blues.

My favourite season for dressing is summer, which is a complete reversal of where I was at a few years ago. Back then it was winter. Winter is my second favourite now. I find the in between seasons the hardest.

Fantastic classic and relaxed outfit Dee! I love these, and they feel very current also.

When the weather is extreme, either hot or cold, I put style aside and embrace comfort 100%. Anything between -10 and +30 celsius, I can have fun dressing for! I enjoy the changes in weather.

Pants, button ups, and sandals is a lovely combination and you wear it beautifully! I especially like outfit #2, the striped shirt paired with the flared jeans is a delightful pairing. The belt is a perfect finishing touch here.

For a favorite season, while I enjoy dressing for all of them, there's something about the cozy-ness of winter that's really fun to dress for. I have always adored sweaters, jeans, and boots paired together. It's not a combination I wear often now since I'm living in a warmer climate but when I lived in a colder state I really enjoyed dressing for winter.
