Too bad the other style in grey didn't work, but since the black comes in grey I'd definitely consider them for your 2nd. Guess it will come down to whether they or the glen plaid work best with your wardrobe colors.

Can I ask where you found the peacock top and what it's made of?

I have a very similar tissue-weight wool version in black (silver buttons on the sleeves only) that's been worn hard for 2 years and now it has big snag down one arm. If you're like me you will wear that blue one under/over so many things -- I miss mine already and winter is just starting!

Kari, those black pants are perfection. Since you found a pant that works so well, I'd suggest purchasing in any other colors that fit with your wardrobe and duplicating the black. FWIW, I'm a confirmed duplicater.
