Nothing is styled; these items are just being tried on for the first time.
#1-2: Black Talbots pants with a slight bootcut. I was utterly amazed that these actually fit me well all over; I haven't worn or found dressy pants that I liked in YEARS. I'm thinking that I should keep this pair.
#3-4: Gray pants, different cut. I think part of the problem is that the fly is quite different, and it's pulling a lot more than the black pants. I think I'm going to return these. (I have no idea what's going on with the face I am pulling in #4...)
Also, an off-white Two by Vince Camuto button-down that I was planning to wear as a layering piece under sweaters; it's very comfortable but the photographs show me the problems with the fit. The shoulders are too big, the breast pockets are exaggerated in the light color and draw lots of attention to the bust, it's too tight across the hips. I'm returning it. I have a patterned white blouse (the same as the black Two by Vince Camuto blouse in #1-2) that is much more flattering.
#5: Three items on trial here -
Burgundy patent Me Too low-heeled pumps - utterly comfortable. I'm planning to keep them.
Peacock blue sweater with buttons at the neck and cuffs; a replacement for a thin scoop neck teal sweater that is finally looking too shabby to wear regularly. Unless you see something that I don't, I'm planning to keep it.
Bobeau polka dot skirt: Okay, I feel like this one photographs deceptively well. I have a couple other Bobeau knit pencil skirts that are lined. This one isn't, and it's a thin material and is somewhat clingy. I am planning to return it.
