I have a limited number of pull on full length pants as these are closer to ankle pants. The cobalt blue was inspired by Katerina. I have a very small number of cobalt items as it is not a warm color, but I do have cobalt pants here rolled down. They are Chico’s via consignment with a cobalt EF woven tee and old Nordstrom’s jacket and my brightest navy shoes. The bag is ancient. The cardigan tied on top is EF and bought to wear with a sapphire dress. My little granddaughter liked this monochrome blue outfit.
Today I am wearing monochrome coral. The pants are a coral and white narrow stripe that looks like peach in the photos. The top was a gift from DSister and has a matching tank under it. The small bag was from consignment and shoes are not coral, but a pinkish tan. Topper is the shirt from Nemosmom or a consignment scarf with corals and tan in the pattern. Too much? It is warm enough for this early fall weather but do I dare repeat either outfit?
May try a column of green inspired by Katerina’s work or even brown or rust for fall.
ETA: green column ( #7-9) inspired by Katerina. The pants are old sage EF, top is a Jones Sport knit mint tee bought several years ago. Jacket is an EF bluish olive (old) cotton and shoes are Bob’s sneakers from last year. Little bag is mostly olive local artist and I have very little green, so I’m wearing a gift scarf and silver leaf necklace, olive drop earrings with silver hardwear. Would a silver bag or/and shoes be better? I can do a better job with olive green, but it will be part of my fall colors.
