Not many outfit photos lately because I’ve been preoccupied with work (good stuff), and some other things that are more difficult (the death of a dear friend, and now getting rid of a tenant who is not paying their rent). I’m getting dressed quickly these days without a lot of thought, and my wardrobe is working for me. It seems I have lots of FFBO’s. They’re not particularly trendy, but I take it as a good sign that I still get compliments and feel like I’m staying true to my style and not chasing anything that doesn’t feel authentic to me.

Casual work day, work for visitors to my studio. McQueen scarf and new fave Minkoff gunmetal backpack (instant workhorse).

/3 Casual work day with a meeting scheduled. New fave Tolani top. Comfy Pikolonos boots, and Peruvian Connection moto pants. Warm and rainy so I got to dig out the old Burberry!

Installing a gallery exhibition. A camera crew was there, so I tried to wear something I could work in that would still look ok on camera. Eileen Fisher sweater and bootcuts.

At a gallery opening with friends. My sleeve is hiked up and I'm holding my bulky wool coat, so it’s not a flattering pose, but just showing that my ancient (8 years old??) Club Monaco silk blouse with leather sleeves is still in steady rotation! Aimee Kestenberg crossbody bag, and a favorite scarf from NAS a few years ago.

/7 At another gallery opening, both taken in front of a wall of my work. Zara blouse from a few years ago, with Paige bootcuts. Clearly I am explaining how I work in pic number 7, LOL.

Donating blood casual with band tee and slouchy beret.

/10 Super casual with a trip to the hair salon. This is how my hair looks when it’s growing out and I wash and air dry with no product. That white and black tee is probably 10 years old — yay for Ralph Lauren quality.

Post haircut, vet office selfie in ultra casual hoodie and Uniqlo puffer.

Not feeling a huge urge to shop, and when I do, I’m being very picky. The least bit of discomfort (I’ve rejected severa contenders because they were itchy or scratchy or pinchy) means it’s a no. I have plenty so no need to acquire anything less than fab.
