June Challenge: skirt and diagonal top

Angie's blog post today inspired today's outfit. I had decided to do some skirts or dresses in my closet for the challenge, so this old but loved summer top is shown with an AT old white Jean skirt. Is the skirt too short? Does the top look too worn? It is on its last season. I'd love your thoughts and suggestions.

The skirt is a great length on you, Joy. It's not short at all, plus I think you have great legs so you rarely have to worry about that.

The top looks rather pretty and summery. It reminds me of candy! In a good way! Love the visual interest created by the diagonal stripes....it's really cool. Great outfit as usual

I think this looks great Joy. I don't see anything worn out looking about the top and the skirt is definitely not too short. You could pull of shorter skirts too (if you wanted to).

The skirt is absolutely not too short. Looks great! The top looks great to me, but how worn it is is something really something only you can judge up close.

Thank you all for your comments and help to see this outfit through your eyes. These are both favorite pieces that have had lots of wear. I'm glad that they still look ok.
I'm glad the skirt does not look too short. I wish that it were an inch or two longer since summer means bare legs.
Maneera, the top front has a mesh with printed stripes at angles to the printed stripes on an attached cotton tank underneath. I see what you mean with the candy look.
Denise, thank you. I wore miniskirts when I was younger and enjoyed showing lots of leg, but veins and knobby knees have taken their toll. Tights still look good.

Elizabeth, you are so wise. The top isn't as crisp after laundering as it once was, but I doubt many notice the difference.
Fusslessness, thank you. This does well in hot weather. The skirt is cooler than shorts.
