Thank you All so very much for all the wonderful compliments and the kind words! You have truly made my day, it is so fun to continue with such fantastic encouragement!
Sterling, thank you for your extraordinary compliments and kindness. No 2 would work at the office as well (of course without the gloves), no problem with the style. However, the red handbag is very little for me, I usually carry a lot of stuff, so I would certainly have to carry an extra bag, which is a bit of a hassle. I will use the scarf with the outfit and probably add another, larger bag. I have a blue bag which would work.
Brooklyn, thank you for support and interest. That's right, my goal is to work with my wardrobe better, in order to use all the clothes I actually own, try to employ the "non-favourites" as well, try to use more accessories and thus improve my outfits on the whole. I will during January document one outfit a day (at least it is my ambition) and try not to repeat bottoms, tops, indoor toppers and scarves. So far, I have not repeated any such items, apart from a black silk top, which is a workhorse. As it seems, I will probably have to repeat some scarves too. Shoes, bags and jewellery are allowed to be repeated. Outerwear is not included in my challenge at all. I suppose this exercise will lead to some wardrobe editing which is a bonus.
Yes Toban, I remember such old rules. A similar "rule" was not to wear black and brown together, which is a great combo. Teal and navy is fantastic!
Absolutely, Lyn67, gloves are fabulous accessories!
