January 30x30 outfit 28 dressy coat

I am getting a little behind with my 30 challenge outfits and will need a couple of days to finish the challenge. Here is outfit 28. I decided to make an outfit with my dressy black and green boucle coat. It is made of thin wool-silk blend fabric not lined and I usually wear it as a topper or an indoor topper to a bit dressier occasions. It is about as warm as a wool blazer. The outfit consists of the coat, a short sleeved silk top underneath, a green stretch velvet pencil skirt (used also in outfit 9) and tall black boots. The coat works also with black skirt or trousers. Today, I played with several scarves and some bags No 1-6. I usually wear version 5 or 6, but I would like to have more fun options.

If you have the time and you feel like it, please, help me choose the right scarves.

No 7 is a new combination using the lavender jacket from outfit 24, which I was hesitant to. Here, I tried the lavender jacket with the green velvet skirt - ideas which I have got from you Fabbers - and I am happy with the result. Thank you!

So, what do you guys think? I am grateful for you looking and for honest feedback, ideas and whatever comes to mind.

Great jacket. My pics are the first 3 scarves, with a slight preference for the Moschino one with this outfit. Also I like the lavender jacket outfit- bold combo but you are definitely pulling it off

I like 2 and 7 best, but definitely keep 5 in mind for St Patrick's Day festivities. The creamy scarf in 4 looks great with your bag.

I like #1 the best, I think because of the light color and large scale print. Followed closely by the Moschino.

I love the dressy coat! I also love the lavender jacket in this pairing. Is this version more in your comfort zone? If I recall correctly it was one that you were uncertain about.

I love that green coat. That is one of the best coats ever! Every single combination is excellent, with slight preference to 1.3 and 4 because I like the bright white with it. The lavender jacket with scarf is also great, do you have lighter boots? I think it would also be fun to bring some of the lighter color down, if that makes sense.

As far as scarves go, I have a slight preference for 1 and 2 over the others. Because they add a striking pattern mix.

What a gorgeous coat! The fabric seems to have a nice drape and shimmer, and the color is fab!
My personal favourite scarf with the coat is the light green on photo #3 : the colors and patterns of the coat and scarf compliment each other and are harmonious together. Second favorite would be the fun Moschino on photo #2. All the other ones are tied for third.

Fantastic coat! My fave looks are 3 and 5, I really like how the tonal green of those scarves brings out the color of the coat. Especially in #3 the coat almost sparkles!

Great look with the lavender blazer, too. It seems like a “cold spring “ look to me but I tend to have very definite seasonal associations with particular colors/ color combinations.

Toban, yes, the lavender jacket is the one I was uncertain about, but I actually like it better with the pencil skirt thanks to the colour and structure. I have reconsidered...

Shevia, thank you for the idea, lighter try lighter boots. I do not have any tall light boots though, but will try with some lighter booties.

I like #3 and #5 best. LOVE the boucle coat with velvet skirt- wonderful textures together. The color is absolutely fabulous.

I like the lavender jacket with the green skirt much better than you previous outfit with the jacket. I agree that the silhouette is better with the pencil skirt but I also really like the green and lavender together.
