J. Crew Inspiration & Floral Capris (GP Inspiration)

I know some are feeling the heat throughout the country, but, er, um, we're having the coolest, most interesting weather today, from light breezes and then gusty winds to overcast skies and now sunshine and calm.

It is warm, but pleasantly so. We're about to go to dinner with my twin sister and her SO and I'm in the outfit shown in 5-7.

1-4 My J. Crew inspiration, from the latest catalogue (photo 2) with my Benetton denim jacket, mint Brooks Brothers shirt, yellow sunglasses skirt (an old skirt, shortened, purchased in Palm Desert on El Paseo Drive, at a store that's probably no longer in existence), Stuart Weitzman "Angie" ballet flats.

5-7 White GAP mesh-sleeve top, H&M floral pants (with a shout out to Goldenpig, who introduced them in a fab WIW and sold me instantly!), white leather belt, red kitten heel slingback.

I apologize for not posting comments on your WIW's lately, but I've had a few auditions and one huge booking is confirmed for a quick shoot in Toronto. Wish it was a longer trip as I'd definitely want a meet-up! Thanks for looking and I'll check in on your posts very soon!

What great weather! Are you sure you don't want to do the meet up in your area this week, lol?

How exciting about your booking in Toronto! Whatever will you pack? But on to the task at hand! I love your printed skirt with the denim jacket, and what a cool floppy straw tote. Very authentic looking. You look better than the model you copied I have to say. You also manage to make those H&M floral pants look very chic and expensive. Vicki, you have high-low dressing down to a science and you look fab!

The sunglasses skirt is so much fun, and is perfect paired with the denim jacket.
And I'm not usually that much of a fan of flowered jeans, but you look just stellar in yours with the mesh-sleeved sweater.
