I've Got the Blues... - YouLookFab Forum

I wore this Monday and I was literally feeling the blues and uninspired to get dressed, but then it hit me.... I am a mood dresser, why not just go with it... That was just what i needed and put this together lickety split...

I love it from the front, but seriously question the proportions on the side and back view with the addition of the jacket, but with temps in the 50's I needed it as that sweater tunic is very thin...

I am also wearing both a dainty necklace and more bulky one... The Sapphire is one my husband bought me ages ago and I use to save it for special occassions.. Can't tell you how many times I've gone for a navy dress just to showcase it... Now many years later I realize I can wear it any time I want, how silly I was in younger years...

I love this outfit - blues and grays always look relaxed and easy to me ... I agree the jacket may not be perfect from the side, although it could be that the hand on your waist pushed it out a little more? But it really does look great; I only notice as it was pointed out

I see not a thing wrong with any of this. You look great! That jacket is really a super fabulous color.

I also had color match restrictions in my younger days. Could never stand wearing more than 2 colors per outfit (shades of color either, really...it always felt too busy to me), and I felt like so many things didn't "go" because of their shades that I was always frustrated. Of course, maybe a lot of it was that colors and patterns really *didn't* play as well together in those days? Who knows...but I am really enjoying the freedom of combining things in more carefree ways.

So much love for that jacket! And blue and gray together. The side view doesn't bother me, I think because the blue base of the tunic makes it look like a third layer.

Okay I also have to ask because I have a somewhat similar haircut now. How do you style it? Your hair always looks both casual/natural and well-shaped/stylish/flattering. I need help...

Your jacket is awesome. I love the color on you. I really didn't notice anything from side view - it just seems like your hand is pushing the jacket.

Rabbit, to answer your question regarding my hair...

After washing my I hair I towel dry and part it to the side and then turn my head upside down and blow dry it... I I don't use a brush or anything just blow it dry with my head upside down... then brush it and finish up with my curling blow brush and curl it all under with the heat of the blow brush... I have to say that tool has been the best investment ever!!!! I've had it for a good 4 years or more and paid three times the price of the one I linked here, as I think they've gone down in price...Hope this helps...
