Finally got around to doing more sewing last week.
I can only make very simple skirts at this point. Using existing skirts as patterns.

LOVED how this simple skirt turned out. I'm wearing it again today (photo from weekend). I used a Loft skirt as a pattern. Simple elastic waist. I already had the Loft top and it matches pretty good.

Even my husband loved this dress. I made another simple skirt (more flare / longer) and attached it to a cute white lace back T I found at WalMart. Attached the two pieces with elastic.
Added a belt I had and a big statement necklace and you have an AWESOME OUTFIT. It was a big hit with my friends while drinking wine by the pool.
I have more fabric and plan to make a few more skirts for summer. I may even try to make a cute top. Pinterest has a ton of cute step by step tutorials for no pattern clothes.
