Thanks for the kind comments--so fun to read after a long week. It was a doozy of a week that ended with spending the last 12 hours trying to get wifi set up for my dad so he can use a smart tv, helping him navigate that and the smart phone. (Let’s just say I’m ready to take a dunk in a big glass of alcohol. haha.) Fingers crossed what we went over today, sticks tomorrow.
@slimcat: Thank you. He is a handful--a European doberman is what I was told. His feet are enormous. At 8 weeks he’s 20 pounds and a very sweet boy.
@Angie, Suz and Lisa p: Thank you! Oreo is fine--she gave me a good sniff after the first day with the pup but I think she is okay as long as I don’t bring him home! The top in 2 is Target--I had buyer’s remorse and then decided I liked it. I think it works well with crops! #7 is an Angie pic--the Trouve skirt--it has served me so well. I will be sad when I have to retire it!
@Sharan and Jenna: Thank you! I’m glad you like my “70’s” belt. I wore it a lot a few years ago and then it kind of hung around collecting dust. It works well with some of my simple shift style dresses--those are what I’m reaching for again. Plain and simple! I’m glad that 4 works--I thought it seemed seasonally confused but my toes are a mess and didn’t want to wear sandals. Appreciate the reassurance!
@windchime: lol! I love canine casual. That’s a great descriptor. Thank you.
@Jaileen: Thank you. I see you like the column of color too. These days seem especially “basic”--I am reaching for the least fussy items to wear.
@shevia, Bijou, Mirjana and Minaminu: Thank you!
@Zaeobi: You are so right. When the puppy is quiet (and not in his crate) I know he’s up to no good! Thank you!
@Star: Thank you! I totally agree on the denim vest. I don’t think I’ve ever worn one except for with a dress or skirt!
@robin: Thank you! Glad that my Target items are getting so much love! The dress could be shortened very easily but I really like the longer length. It seems more modern to me.
@Brooklyn: Thank you. I was totally inspired by the camo I’ve seen on the forum that I dug these out. They used to be a lot looser but they still fit at least! It was fun getting them into rotation. I’ll definitely repeat!
@Janet: Thank you. The hair is driving me crazy. I’ve been french braiding it back to keep it out of my face and off my neck. The hair clamps can’t reign the mop in anymore.
@lyn: Thank you. Pshaw--you are one of the most stylish ladies on the forum! Good luck with your pup!!
@Susan: Thank you! I am worn out but hanging in there like everyone else. I’m lucky that I’ve been working and having some normalcy. It just seems like this is never going to end. The new normal sure is different.
@Laurie: Lol. Thanks! Glad that the visual on the crops helps. I feel like this length is the most flattering for me. I’ve had to hack some of my longer ones because they were too stumpifying at the longer length sans heels...and I’m all about sans heels these day.
@Grace and Sal: Thank you! I think the darker camo print is definitely more versatile with my coloring. I was drawn to the print initially because it was more subtle--and it was blue!
@nuancedream: Thank you! The pup is named Roman. I think he’s going to weigh as much as me when he’s full grown.
@preppypear: Lol! My coworkers laugh at my Fit Flops. They always say I’m in my bedroom slippers or heading to the pool. I love them though. They’re so crazy they seem to work with everything! I love minipins--I think this boy is equal to two right now.
@rachy: and madeline: Thank you!
