I had liked the color of this blazer--a cool deep pink but not fuchsia--and the fabric blend sounds like one I'd like. It's about half off, but still insanely pricey--do the prices ever come down further ?

I'm craving more color, but wonder if this would get tiresome? So I didn't even want to get near it in case it turned out to be lovely. On the realistic side, in the photos it looks to be, on the model, cut fuller in the bust and narrow through the hip--so likely is not my fit.

While this might not be "the one", the reason I was considering a more light-hearted item is that it's occurred to me that I don't need as much separation between traveling-to-work jackets and after-hours jackets, and my work jackets or blazers do not need to be totally serious. I do need to keep a couple of conservative blazers in my wardrobe to put together a serious, neutral pants or skirt outfit from time to time, but not a whole array.

The other issue is, after trying and rejecting 4 or 5 pink jackets this spring, I concluded I "need" a pink dressy-blazer for some of my dresses. However, it's likely the ideal length for that is shorter.

Step away from "submit order" box ? Make it a statement piece? Decide if it's worth my entire budget for awhile (no more oxfords? now, that's what may keep the finger off the trigger).
