Brooklyn, so happy it is spring today and we had the perfect weather for it too - sunshine and clear blue skies. I am really loving your dark romance and looking forward to seeing your summer version, which I am sure will be very influential on us forum members.
JenniNZ - Well done on resisting temptation as I saw your post to Gryffin about the bronze boots and think those are a better choice. The pewter shoes were close but not a perfect 10. When it comes to shoes, you need 10's, as shoes make you happy. I find your use of footwear and variety of shoes that are also practical for your lifestyle to have influenced my choices, so thank you.
Bonnie - thank you for your lovely comment, it is much appreciated.
Katerina - thank you so very much. It is fun to have friends that you can learn from across the world. YLF is indeed a wonderful community.
Fashintern - so glad you like the dress, it is from my favourite shop Cue, who design and manufacture most of their clothes here in Australia. It is nice to think that I am helping support local talent and jobs as so much of Australian retail comes from China and I do have concerns about the conditions that the workers may be subject to.
Style Fan - yes bookending was new to me too. I had always thought light coloured footwear just seemed to work with most things on me, without understanding why. Angie is very generous to share these styling tips that have helped me improve my wardrobe. I find your use of complimentary colours and classic style, that has a very contemporary nod to Ali McGraw in the 70's, to be very influential to me. I love how you have had a suede jacket for many years and it still looks wonderful on you. Getting those few right 'forever' pieces is a goal that I would love to achieve.
Rachy - thank you, I have always loved the 60's mod look and with the colour palette, this does have a slight nod to that era.
Jane - it is fun how a simple accessory can improve things! Sweet peas are beautiful flowers, I loved your post of the spring flowers in the UK, I will have to post some Australian wildflower pictures, as they are quite unusual growing in harsh conditions.
Jussi - well I do love a bit of Razzle Dazzle!
