Nikki's wearing of an oversized sweater vest over a dress inspired me to wear the outfit below yesterday.
The Understory
Black silk Theory shirtdress I've had for years, after shortening it by 16 inches (yes, 16).
Black Danskin leggings.
Combat boots. Too large for me but they don't hurt my problem feet. Also every time I wear them I sing something from Combat Rock.
The Overstory
Exaggerated houndstooth vest from Talbots
Gaultier coat Christmas gift from LMA (for taking the dog outside.)
Thank you to Mr. A for both taking the photos and encouraging me to do so because he liked this outfit.
P.S. I generally roll the sleeves of this dress but I was chilly so I let them be at their full length.
