They don't have my size in white. Sizing seems the same as the one I bought. I need XXS

I kind of love this jacket. White is off white. I am wearing an optic white shirt.

I really love the white one. Inge, the quality on this one is high. Leather is buttery soft. There is some beautiful seam detailing on the back. I am not sure if the web photos show that but I really liked the effect. I would recommend this jacket.

Are you getting them? I love them in both the white and the red for you.
Seems softer than the harsh black on you.

I'm just looking and not buying. Yet. I am shopping my closet (except for my birthday jacket) until after London. But I will strongly consider the white or the blue and if Angie comes on here and recommends one I might be able to make room in the budget. But only one!!!

Suz!!!!!! You are an angel!!!-) I can't believe that both you and Sveta went to the trouble to go check out the jackets for me in the store. I am speechless and so very grateful. This irl investigation is incredibly helpful, thank you so much.

I love the off-white colour and adore the back seam detailing (noticed that in the online pictures). I also really love how it fits you, elegant and modern.
I see a bit of "wrinkling" on the upper arms, but perhaps that's just due to you having to photograph the jacket?-)

Off to read your opinion on the blue jacket.

Oh! I didn't know Sveta was checking too ! I'm on my phone. Svetas report will be more to the point given you heights are similar.

The white is not my size so the fit is definitely off. Red is my size. Sleeves too long for me but that is good for you!! I am very tempted by this jacket. You can wear it with the scuba collar bent back so it looks more like a blazer. That makes it feel quite versatile to me.

Are you an XXS in most Danier jackets? I am a medium or large in Zara, and 6-8 in most other brands. I was thinking of going with S. Would that work?

Oh - Zap - for some reason I didn't see your note until now.

No - the red jacket was the same as the white one, except in my size (they don't have my size in the white in stock, but could order it, of course).

Re sizing: Danier seems to run quite large. I take (in most of the jackets ) an xxs. The taupe jacket I bought was an xxs. The white one here is their smallest size, xxxs -- it is too small for me for sure.

That red jacket you linked to also looks gorgeous. It is similar but not identical to the blue on that Inge is interested in.

I would call customer service and talk to them there about the sizing. And also maybe talk to Sveta, because she is tall. My guess is probably small for you...but it might depend on shoulder/ bust measurements.

I much prefer the white one on you, too. if you decide to buy, do go with the white one. I would love to get that but the neckline does not do it for me. I prefer jackets with collars. I would have gone for the blue one but now after your analysis, I am having second thoughts.

Mona- you might want to try that blue one on. And just go to the store to try stuff, period. They have a LOT on sale right now and all winter stock is 50% to 70% off this week!

The white does not look too large, Suz. The white fits just right to my eye. Where do you feel it's too big that you want to go smaller?

Angie, no - the white is too SMALL. Too small in the shoulders and too tight to do up comfortably. I need one size up. The red one is the correct size (I think.)

Do you like the white? I am strongly considering. It is higher quality than the blue jacket, which I also liked a lot, but which didn't feel as good on.

Suz, do they have 25% off in your Danier store now on new arrivals? They have in mine. I am very tempted by the white jacket but I will hold off a bit. I never buy full price from Danier as they always go on deep sale in a couple of months - at least 50% off - and never sell out in full prices. Also they may get more styles in, the spring season just started so it may be fine to wait until after London... (this is what I tell myself anyway)

The quality is the same as the white one - very soft leather, great for the indoor wear. I wish it comes in white - I would get it in a heart beat, SYC or not!
