Inge drove from Antwerp to Velp to see me today and we spent the day together - shopping, eating, laughing, and walking our feet off. Inge's Fitbit worked overtime! As always, it was a treat to see my dear friend, and we had a ball.

The weather was cold and drizzly - but nothing we couldn't handle. Nothing was going to put a damper on the day, especially since we wore the right clothes and footwear. Happy feet!

Inge was radiant in her cobalt coat, striped jumper, striped bag, NAS scarf, specs and bootcuts. Her bootcuts looked fresh and fab with the sneaks. Super cute pattern mixing. Loved the lippie that matched too. Inge was her warm, jolly and very sweet self, and I adore her to bits.

I put more of my burgundy capsule through its paces by combining velveteen pants with a tonal wine t-neck, Bordeaux booties, plaid bomber, and pile of pearls. I loved wearing my tonal column of colour and adding pearls for brightness. The orange pom-pom further brightened the palette. I did not feel blah in burgundy.

We drank lots of herbal tea, ate lots of veggies, and threw in some cake too. The food pics speak for themselves!

We also shopped up a storm. Inge hit the jackpot in the first shop we tried stuff on in - a Dutch store called "Expresso". AMAZING Killer pieces. Wow! The items there fit her perfectly and were in all her favourite colours. I'll leave it to Inge to share the fun details.

I bought a cropped orange pullover (looks yummy with my burgundy capsule), a very pretty wine holiday clutch to complete this years' holiday outfit, a scarf, and I might go back for a pair of simple, flat navy booties.

Stores were FULL of all shades of burgundy, olive, navy, ink blue and cinnamon. Lots of oatmeal and taupe too. Very pleased to see black and grey take a backseat.

I'll share my exact purchases when I get back - and I managed to do a bit of Xmas shopping. Need to do a bit more tomorrow.

Thank you Inge, for a fun and special. Lots of love to you always. Xo
