Gorgeous photos! You both look fabulous - loving the flash of blue coat and all the amazing burgundy. Lovely.

You both look gorgeous. Last year my friend and I went shopping in Amsterdam and found Expresso we both bought a few things as we loved the clothes. We went back next day to get a scarf for my friend’s sister the lady in the shop gave us a scarf each as presents as we were visitors and we told her it was our favourite shop we had found in Amsterdam. They have a web site but unfortunately they don’t deliver to Ireland where I live.
I would love to shop there again.

You both look spectacular! Maybe it is time to organize a YLF reunion in Europe!

You two really had such a fun time - it just comes out in the photos (#15 & #16 are beautiful). Well other than the weather, everything else sounds perfect. You both look amazing and that food, so healthy and delicious!

You look like twins in last 2 picties, brilliant outfits both of You, beautiful ladies!!!

Great outfits, fun shopper! Lots of walking always makes me feel virtuous and deserving, too.

How fun! You both look gorgeous, and it sounds like a wonderful day. Food looks delicious too.

Sounds like a wonderful day! Love the pics.

Wow, you both look gorgeous! I love Inge's bright cobalt coat. And the food! So yummy looking.

Always such a treat to see you two lovelies!

WOW,WOW,WOW.... how lovely Ladies! Great outfits and beautiful colours and all this with such foods, I can't stop watching.

How fun! You both look gorgeous! Inge's cobalt blue coat is fabulous. It's another color I have started incorporating in my wardrobe.

You are all so sweet! Thanks so much for the lovely comments and compliments.

It was such a wonderful day!! Nothing could stop us having a brilliant time, certainly not the weather;-)

The appeltaart was yum, our poké bowl lunch and dinner delish. Velp is as charming and beautiful as ever, and Arnhem is such a good town for a day of shopping. I got some beautiful things that make me smile big time (will post my loot on a separate thread), but Angie, it’s spending time with you (and seeing your Papa) and us getting the chance to catch up and hang out together for a whole day that is truly special!! Love you right back!!
(Your outfit yesterday was stunning! You are rocking those burgundies. And your new loot is stunning too!-)

Joy - Awww, we will.
Minimalist - We received a sweet comment about how colourful we looked in one of the stores;-)
La Pedestrienne - I think navy booties can be really versatile. Hope you find a fab pair.
JAileen & Cardif girl - *smile*
Lisa - It was!!
Dianna - I’m nodding along with your navy booties comment;-) And Velp is such a pretty, picturesque town!
Fernanda, Sarah and Jaime - Thank you! My cobalt coat is one of my best purchases ever.
mtnsoftthemoon - It was such a stroke of luck that the striped bag, which was already in my closet, works so well with the coat.
Style Fan - We always have an amazing time, and I drive home each time smiling from ear to ear.
Dakotacheryl and Aida - Oh thank you. It’s a Clinique Chubby stick.
Aida - You would love the food!-)
Gryffin - I’m blushing there. Thank you!
Rachylou - Hah! Perhaps the coat adds a few centimetres;-)
Sharan - We absolutely did!! And I’m thrilled to hear you love my specs. They are blue and brown indeed (Angie helped me pick them when I was in Seattle. So they are extra special because each day they remind me of what a magical time I had with all of you wonderful ladies.)
Carla - That’s so very sweet.
Jane - Thank you! They are actually a very light grey with white soles (and of course I made sure to clean the soles before this special day;-). I hurt my toe a few weeks ago, and still need to wear sneakers if I’ll be walking all day. So hurrah for the sneaker trend and this pair working so well with my bootcut jeans;-)
Pirouette - WOW, how incredibly sweet of the shop lady! It’s such a marvelous store, isn’t it. And yes, such a shame that they only ship to Belgium and the Netherlands. Fingers crossed that will change.
Bella - Oh Bella, you know what I’m going to say: it is HIGH time!!!!!-)
Bijou, Mirjana and lyn67 - You make me smile.
Unfrumped - *chuckle*, we did just under 19.000 steps yesterday.
JP - Fun! I definitely want to add more cobalt in the future too.

The Cat Anna, Diana, Eliza, Marilyn, Tanya, delurked, Paula, Mac, Susie, Brooklyn, Lucy, Janet, Robin, and Mary: thank you!!!

I miss you lovely beauties so much. The food look amazing!
Angie your burgundy capsule makes me smile. Inge that coat is amazing. Love you both too pieces!

You are all lovely. Thank you.

Inge found a dress I wanted in my size. Excited.

Stunning! You must have turned heads with your vibrant and happy colours and radient smiles. Food looks so yummy. Thanks for sharing!

Oh Debbie, I miss you awfully much too, and so wish you could have been there!! Hugs and much love!!
Harmonica - Thank you!-)
Angie - Soooo glad I was able to order it in your size!

if the posts/pictures of Angie and her Papa make me happy, these posts with Inge make me like YLF even more than i already do...the love and friendship that these posts convey....beyond fab...thank you

You’re a joy to see in your vibrant colours and matching specs.
Love Inge’s pattern mixing (stripes!) and Angie’s fluffy textures.

Radiant is indeed the word! Inge, do you wear a lot of jewel tones? The cobalt is stunning on you.

Angie, I'm heading to the Netherlands next summer for the first time. I'm taking food notes based on your posts.

Good thing I ate dinner before sitting down for a bit of YLF time! The food is mouth-watering! You both look fresh and sunny in your colorful coats on a rainy day --- I love the way your smiles and your specs match beautifully!

Aaawww, that's so sweet, kkards.
Flytigress, Beth Ann & Isabelle - Thank you:-)
Jazzy Dance - Not as much as I'd like (only because I don't really have a lot of them in my closet, which is something I absolutely want to remedy!).

You girls look gorgeous even in the bleak weather, and I bet you walked and chatted and shopped up a storm! YLF friendships are truly special.

What a fun time! I want the cake in #10, it looks like something grandma made called Apfelkuchen mit Sahne.

I love the bright colors, you're convincing me to banish gray from my wardrobe.

You both looked brilliant- practical and fabulous at the same time!

You're so sweet, thanks Laura!-) We sure did, and I was nodding along enthusiastically with your comment: YLF friendships are truly special indeed!

Denise - It's so wonderful to see you. For me, there's nothing like a bright colour to brighten my spirits on grey days for sure! And yes, I think that appeltaart is indeed very similar to your grandma's Apfelkuchen. Yum!!

Oh, thanks so much, Lyn!

Thanks for all the kind words, ladies. It was fun to stay in touch while I was away.
