... not a lot different, to be completely honest. I think the only difference is fantasy-me would have a wardrobe cleaning service! HAHA. And more volume in my hair which never gets in my face so I can wear it not in a ponytail :p

Cashmere, silk and organic cotton might be *all* I would be willing to put on my body. Everything would be custom designed to fit perfectly with perfect slouch. Oh and handmade leather shoes from Italy that fit like a glove and feel like comfortable sneakers but look super stylish. Style would be classic casual chic. This would require organic cotton jeans with some sort of natural pigment dye that never runs in the washer as I don't think I could live without jeans.

Very fun question! I would veer into two opposite directions...one would be a more dressy, polished look, with the occasional very formal outfit such as a long gown; the other would be a significantly edgier style.

I would love to have tailor made clothing. I am constantly struggling with fit, so a personal designer and tailor would be high on the list. A personal assistant would also be great! (Oh, I guess that may not be fashion related, but it tells you about my stress level with the beginning of the school year!)

My fantasy would be to have a hairstylist do my hair every morning before I started my day...or....a hat! I want to be Lady Edith!

As one who indeed has a wonderful fantasy life...I would not change a single thing about my wardrobe...I would continue to wear what I wear because it really is me...even in make-believe...Now if I could just find that prince...smile...

For day I'd be following texstyle around saying I'll have what she's having.
Dressy clothes would be custom made Armani pants suits.
For at home silk peignoirs & heeled slippers or cashmere lounge wear.

Aida, male or female? Joan Jett? Lita Ford? (I am an 80's kid like Angie you know, so I remember them all. Come to think of it, I might have dressed a bit like them for a year or two in tight spandex or parachute pants and bandanas . . . lol)

Hmm good question. I think I skewed more male, but then there was a lot of femme in those outfits; I'm not too into the shredded lace, tulle, and all that jazz that a lot of the women went to after Madonna did her thing. I was quite young through the 80s so I was more peripherally influenced, but I was always all about all things punk rock and metal (male or female) even then. Those glam metal guys know how to do it ^^

In my rich fantasy life there is no manure. Then the possibilities are endless.

I'd be traveling and shooting again, living out of a suitcase with a perfectly curated 20 item wardrobe, with a next season's capsule hanging in my closet. The centerpiece would be a stunning leather jacket.

But then, my subjects tend to involve manure. I need to work on my rich fantasy some more.

I think I would indulge in lots of luxury in more edgy silhouettes: silk, leather, cashmere. I wore a silk shell last week that fell victim to my 5 year old's surprise stomach flu. Maybe I should switch to all leather? And in my fantasy, no one looks at me strangely at kindergarten and preschool drop off in said leather ensemble.

I'd have a personal stylist (would hire Angie!) to do me up right on a regular basis. Probably same style but more honed in and better higher ticket designer stuff. Cashmere, leather, and well fitting pieces all around.

Ha! I'd need a good tropical capsule because I'd plan to spend much of my time abroad....aaahhhh.

Does my fantasy life mean I get a fantasy body? Seriously, I live a pretty awesome life but my bigger gripe is that so many things I would like to wear wouldn't look good on me.

Denim pants every. single. day, with various different blouses, eclectic jewelry of all sorts, and eight billion different pairs of shoes. Maybe the odd structured dress or two for good measure. I also love winter/fall coats and would love to have a couple of different options to go to on cold days.

But denim every day would be my dream come true.

If it was total fantasy, I'd dress like a Bollywood starlet one day and Black Widow the next.

Otherwise I pretty much do dress for my fantasy life, the budget calls for creativity to make it work, but I don't feel held back really.

Janet, YES - no hindrance to what you want to look like. Imagine a petite frame if you strive for gamine, or leggy modelesque stature if you want runway looks.
Deb, very interesting that you feel you'd look the same. I think that's a great sign that you are dressing exactly how you want to. Kudos!
