I was running some errands and stopped quickly in Zara. This blazer immediately caught my eye. I have put on some random pants and tee from the store because I am in a dress that doesn’t go with the jacket at all and was difficult to assess. What do you think? Hit or miss?

Looks great on you! I like the high contrast of the black buttons. I’d grab it and do a styling session at home to see if it deserves a place in your closet.

Kathie - this is great idea, I can always take it back. I often forget that buying something in the store doesn’t have to be the final decision. I am used to returns online but not so much in store.

I’d say it looks pretty good. I agree with kathies suggestion, to take it home and try it on with your other clothes and make the true final decision.

I did take it home and will play with it in my close this weekend. I am on a blush kick after receiving few blush items for my birthday earlier this summer. Late to a blush party, but better then never

Because of black buttons I am planing to include it to my winter capsule. I wear a lot of black in winter, and none in the summer. I think it will fit nicely with my winter wardrobe, but my main concern are sleeves. They are 3/4 - will they work for winter? And will I be able to wear coat over them? I can also just keep the jacket in my office.. Or change the buttons to make jacket more summery..

Millinial pink (blush) seems to be the new neutral that doesn't show any signs of declining popularity. Big buttons seem to be making a come back. I like your jacket very much. Love the subtle nod to the hectic sleeve trend.

I like it better on you than on the model. I had the same concerns as you do with the sleeves in winter. Try ons at home will help you decide about when to wear it and buttons. It may be difficult to find replacement buttons that size.

Runcarla - I was resisting both the blush and hectic sleeve trend until now. Verdict on the hectic sleeve is still not out. But my blush capsule has grown overnight - see finds.
kkard - I hope I can make it work for winter. It will soften all the black that I have currently.
Joy - I don't like it on the model either, if I was shopping online I would never ordered it. Not sure why - maybe because she is wearing it buttoned?

I hope it is a keep - it looks great on you. The sleeve is much more functional than so many I’ve seen because of the length and relatively restrained flounce. And the color is so good on you.

It's very pretty and looks great on you. And it's a nice addition to your blush capsule.

I think you can wear a very close-fitting knit sleeve under it in winter, with the longer sleeve peeking out. Maybe a black long-sleeved tee or fine-ribbed sweater. I also think you may be able to wear the sleeves under a winter coat, especially if you can pull the sleeve down and hold it in your hand as you slide your arm into the coat. Sleeves that are too short to do that with do bug me, when I try to put coats on over them.

Nice-keep! I actually do like it with the stripes since the buttons are black. However the buttons may limit its use to always including black somewhere in the outfit since your hair isn't dark. Of course thats an easy switch if needed

Thank you all. Many positive feedback, and it looks like it is a keeper. I just quickly tried it on at home with some winter coats and it is possible to layer over if I hold the sleeve. In the process of trying it on with the coats I accidentally ripped off the tags and this sealed the deal. It is currently too hot here to have outfit creation session with my winter wardrobe but in my mind it should work. I will post pictures if I manage to play with it later today,

I managed quickly to try few outfits before I melted.
1.) Summery version because I want to wear it as soon as possible.
3.) Over column of color with pencil skirt and short sleeve sweater.
2.) Over a dress with black and white hounds tooth pattern.
4.) Over grey dress with matching scarf.
6.) With too short dress worn with . Not sure if this works?
5.) Another column of color with long sleeve sweater and pants
9.) With striped sweater that also has little bell sleeve. Too much?
7.) With white sweater.
8.) With yellow. One of my two favorite colors. Does it work?
10.) With another favorite color just for fun. What do you think?

Everything here has mix and match possibility. I had few more ideas to try but I started sweating too much. I was also too lazy to change shoes and bag, that would also create some more variety. Is this all wearable? Do you have some suggestions for improvement or ideas to try?

Definitely a keeper. I love #1,2, 3, 5 the best but all work. Oddly enough, I prefer it without a scarf since I think the neckline and buttons are so elegant.
