I'm so fancy- dress up Saturday :)

Dress up Saturday for monthly TJs shop
Felt so fancy, even though this (aside from the mask) would have been a completely normal weekend outfit for me B C-19. Was about the only person there not in gear- though probably the first day this month I wasn't in gear or "half-leisure" (gear bottom, normal top).

Batik mask-Etsy. I have 4 from this shop, and love the fabric.
Monte Carlo dress- Peruvian Connection. New this year and super comfy. One side has a slit.
Tonia sandals- Sheridan Mia. Workhorses last year, and nice change from hiking sandals!
Jet Set crossbody- Michael Kors. Replacement for my last one, because the size is perfect, and I like the chain strap.

Love your dress and the fact that your wore a pretty crossbody. Can't quite see the mask but I'm a fan of batik; that's what my masks are made of too.

Great outfit for an outing!

How was TJ’s? A friend of mine was dismayed to see an entire family in there yesterday with their masks down around their chins (he is older and vulnerable and confronted them about it, in a polite way). I haven’t been there in a long time but there are some favorites there I’d really like to get. I tend to go in the middle of a weekday when it’s quieter.

Oh, so cute! You would be the best dressed person at our TJs. I was there yesterday. They're still limiting the number of people in the store at once. Some people pay attention to the direction arrows on the floor but that seems to be a lost cause unless someone is there directing traffic.

I usually pair black with cognac- instead of brighter colors, to warm it up.
Trader Joes was busy, almost like BC19, though they limit the number of people that can go in. No arrows, but some of the shops near me have them. They're awkward if you don't want to visit every aisle :/

Doing dressy - color coordinated outfits is becoming a challenge right now since everyone is so casual and sporty all the time. The preference for washable and easy pieces isn't helpful either.
I can't do dressy right now but hopefully will be inspired by all the great YLF posts to up my dressing game by the next week ( or the week after
).
