Just wanted to share my "achievement" with the forum. I am now an "Encore Certified Shape Specialist" at work... which basically means that I know how to dress all body types and can recommend appropriate clothing. I asked my manager to put this title on my business cards too. Haha.
I have to say, my YLF education came in handy in passing this quiz!
I am really enjoying working at Nordies so far. I feel that I've caught on quickly and I feel very comfortable working in the plus size department. Because I shop at Nordstrom so much I am very familiar with the merchandise and it has been easy for me to make suggestions and recommendations. And it's a lot of fun! I really enjoy helping women put outfits together, and it's amazing -- they seem to trust my judgement. It's a good feeling. I don't plan to stay in retail for the rest of my life, but I do feel like this is my niche. I just need to figure out what to do with it/how to expand it.
By the way, Me Too flats have been my savior while standing on my feet for 8 hours/day.
