So.... my boyfriend sort of knows what I'm doing. He has taken a couple of photos for me and has looked over my shoulder while I've been preparing pics and typing questions here on the forum. I have been purposefully vague, except to make sure he knows I'm not revealing much information about me or him or where I live, etc. I even blur my face in most of the photos.
But something quite embarrassing did happen to me. My 18-year-old son was sitting next to me on the couch while we were Googling something he was interested in. I had several windows open, including Photoshop, in which I had been cropping a photo I'd taken of some tights - tights on my legs. It was the one in this photo:

So, all he sees is a quick glimpse of his mother's legs in stockings, and his face turned ashen. I was like, "No! No! It's nothing weird!" He just mumbled and wandered away.
I was mortified!! A little while later I started to try to explain by saying, "it's nothing weird! It's a picture for a website I'm on." and he said, "I don't want to know!" What in the world did he think that picture was about?
I started babbling; I was trying to explain as fast as I could. I told him that it was NOT some weird fetish thing and that I take pictures of all of my clothes and accessories so that I can get fashion advice. The more I talked, the worse it seemed to get. Even after I explained and showed him, he was totally creeped out. He can not imagine why I would ask a bunch of strangers what they think of my clothes nor why I would take pictures of myself for the world to see.
So, Carole, my true confession for tonight is that I'm not exactly a laughing stock, but my son thinks I'm running some freaky fetish blog. :-/
