After reading your advice I kept the wedges, and today I wore them for work for the first time. I paired them with a gray tweed blazer, white button-down, jeans and a silk scarf. It looked quite nice, and I got several complements for my shoes! The shoes are more than comfy enough for 8 hours walking. Thanks YLFers, for helping me make a good decision.
