I know orange is hot, but... (ISO $ handbag help from YLF sleuths!)

As usual, my timing is all wrong....

For the last several years, I've been looking IRL and online for a *NON-orange* semi-duplicate of my very small-scale orange patent handbag (photos 1 and 2). Love the color in the summer, but don't love it as much with my black coats.

Can anyone with a better "internet search touch" please help me out?

Ideal bag:

-- leather "mini-tote" handbag (mine is 9x11 for reference)

-- relatively inexpensive ($75 or under)

-- open top, but must have magnetic snap + at least one interior zippered pocket

-- aside from not wanting light or warm neutrals, am open to color ("color-color" ok, cool-toned metallics a plus)

-- textured vs smooth a plus

-- preferably from somewhere with free shipping/returns

Thank you! The Perfect 10 is definitely getting high marks from me, ha! I see it comes in some bold shades and I'm liking that (ditto on the price!). I'm applying my Style Statement filters and trying to decide how I feel about the bag's lines....

I've used Google Product Search but never managed to get the "Visually Similar" results you did (see my screen capture below) and I always love that. Can you help Mochi and me out and tell us your secret?

O Ms Coco, alas you have done very well capturing my purse persona but not my "hoping to stay around $75" price point...

However, I applaud your innate knowledge that I have champagne taste (nevermind the beer budget)!

I try economize where I can the better to afford the more luxurious items. I tell myself I'd rather save for Italy than buy one of the direct-from-their-Florence-factory bags below, but man they are right up my alley!

I can't believe you said that, because after looking at the suggestions YLFers were kind enough to give me (and then approximately 30 million more) and being all Goldilocks, I thought, "I should google the purse I have."

And a (reportedly lightly used) $65 all-in pebbled dark brown leather one came up that I loved.

So after waiting the rest of the day to see if I could live with being that...repetitive...I went ahead and pulled the trigger -- only to see your post.

As you're an accessory expert, I was glad to have a little validation for my lack of adventurousness!

So thank you for the props on the orange one as well as the thought that a deep brown would be a decent choice for a duplicate. [It will def work with my wardrobe!]

For anyone wanting my orange bag -- or an animal hair or bright purple or blue shiny patent one just like it -- there are actually some NWT version on eBay.

Annoyingly they are mostly double the $60 I paid at Marshall's several years ago, but the line is made in Italy and mine has held up well with frequent use.

Can't remember if it was eBay or not but there is a gorgeous (new) deep red version of the Perfect 10 I found for around $55.

Very tempting, but in the end I didn't love it enough; maybe someone who reads this will nab it? I have admired the craft of many a Tignanello bag in person!

I'm not sure how it popped up, I search in google and it comes up with this great google search. It's kind of like the old boutiques.com which was run by google but is now defunct.

FYI, the perfect 10 is quite small in person. It is a very cute little purse.
