Never has it been so exciting just to get a haircut. Israel is not in the best situation regarding the pandemic (hats off New Zealand) but it is not bad. The cases are going down, the recovered are outnumbering the diagnosed, and the spread seems contained at the moment. Anyway, last week it was decided that most street front businesses, including hairdressers!, can open contingent on multiple rules.

What it was like: I wore a mask and gloves, my hair stylist wore mask, gloves and a plastic shield. Every single surface was disinfected before and after. She had disposable capes instead of the usual ones to protect my clothes. It is a small business with two stylists and only two other people allowed in at once.

Anyway, results shown below. I have decided to grow out my shorter side and asked for some layers to give the whole thing volume and shape. It may not seem that different to you but it is a huge relief to me. #3 is what I wore there, for comparison. It was cathartic.
Questions, comments, hair or otherwise, welcome. Thanks for looking!
