Cardigans. Ack - I bought so many of these thinking they'd be the perfect layering piece, and sometimes they were, but I went overboard on the quantity and various styles I bought.
I have decided to keep just two or maybe three, and treat them like a classic/neutral item. I still love my black cashmere slouchy boyfriend-ish cardigan, so I'll keep that. Might also keep one black and one grey very basic/classic regular style cardigan as well. Time to pack up the grape, burgundy, brown, aqua, green - cropped, waterfall, etc. into a box and donate them. The hard thing for me to admit here is that I bought all these when I first found YLF, and went overboard, thinking these would 'fix' my wardbrobe a bit. At least 50% of them have never been worn.
That'll teach me to just try one or two 'new-to-me' ideas at a time. Actually, it's just not necessary to buy a whole bunch of any particular item, is it? I think I thought that having umpteen different cardigans would be an instant wardrobe fixer-upper. Didn't work out like that at all.
Note to self: one or two pieces at a time!!
